Breakfast with Olympians

I went for Breakfast with Olympians @ CLC @ 8 a.m. today which I paid $4 for. Was shocked to see Yu Xin at the foyer coming for Breakfast with the Olympians too. I thought she was unparticipative and didn't bother. Somehow she wasn't :D She was babbling on about how pretty and sexy that bowler was - Jasmine Yeong-Nathan (she's won some world cup or something but I saw when she played the friendly match just now her power was just lacking).

Yu Xin and I sat at like, Table 2 which had the name "Pei Qi" or "Pei Qin" Then we realised we had to seat in groups according to the table on the screen (which totally wasn't true because after that they told us we could seat anywhere we liked). We went to Table 5 and the name on the table was Li Bo. Someone from China obviously. Yay 5 of us 101ians sat at the same table (Yu Xin, Jing Wen, Charlotte, Faith and me!) We were there wondering who the athletes were since we didn't even hear their names before. We wondered about people like Li Bo, TerryYeo, Anna Soo etc.

Then when the time for introduction to the athletes came, the presenters said that Terry Yeo and Li Bo were BADMINTON PLAYERS! And we were laughing because there were 4 badmintoners, or shuttlers they would say, which included Charlotte and Jing Wen, didn't even know.

When interaction time between group members (of the same table) came, we were just there wondering Li Bo was a male or female. Turned out that she didn't come 'cos she was feeling unwell. Crappy. Oh yea it's a 'she' according to the picture in the flyer which was given to us later on. But she has short hair and looks boyish.

After we played some games (actually we only played like netball) and when we returned, it turned out that our table was removed because some tables were lacking people. We went to join Table 4 which had Terry Yeo. the breakfast (actually brunch, since it was only served at 11.25 a.m.) was quite nice actually.

Singapore is holding Asian Youth Games (AYG) in June this year???? I srsly had no idea. but only 9 games. booooo. They gave us some AYG water bottle which had a crappy shape and I got orange. ew. double ew. triple ew. total ew.

Idrc whether it was nice because it's considered a support school activity! At least i have some proof to give the teacher i/c to sign the card later because I didn't have the card with me. It's still with Mrs Annis >:( Oh and I also got Jasmine yeong nathan's autograph xD (but I'm not that crazy about her k).

Overall my morning was well spent! I just played runescape for 2 hours and was bored to death. :( My lit pt and phhysics pt!!11 onoz. The latest manga chapter of Bleach was supaaaaaaa boring and Naruto was rly ineteresting! Yondaime appeared right when Naruto was about to release nine tails!11 wooooo.

me back!

I'm officially blogging again and made this blog public. Just ignore all the previous posts since they're seriously useless now. And idrc about the shittiness of the blogskin. Shall report about how I spent my week.

Monday: MAD and History of RGS tour
MAD was er... boring?? Cos I did not rly participate and I can't believe my group got into the nxt round of 52 despite creating the game within less than 1 hr. At least Vivian's bleach mangas kept me awake for a LITTLE while. The tour was postponed!! :( and I was still hoping that on Thursday I could sleep in later or at least spend a lil time at home. I hate the rain >:(

Tuesday: MAD and World religions tour
The tour... it was soooooooooooooo boring!111 Waking up at 5.30 just for some tour where you can actually find all the information online (maybe not but i believe the tour didn't help in our sch syllabus at all). we went to temples, a mosque and a church on Telok Ayer St (was it there? k i cant rmb and i wasnt paying attention to the guide at all). we went to some chinese temple known as Thian Hock Keng?? I accidentally stepped on the threshold, believed to have god's hands on it. Oh no, I wonder what will happen to me?? MAD was better than ytd but with more discrepencies cos we had prizes for the game. Mridula's team got into the second round, I mean, third of 11 teams only!! Go 101!

Wednesday: Journey of errors
the best learning journey out of everything! my grp went to multiple places like century sq, tampines mall, eastpoint and *drumroll* farah's house and some park near her house (oh it wasn't near at all. In fact it was quite a distance away.) We found the signs like in less than an hr and we went to some old chang kee@ century sq to eat. I bought a chicken wing and nuggets. Dropped the drumlet on the floor while eating :x Bought lychee milkshake at sweettalk (farah said lychee was nice) but took a damn long time to finish it. Haaa! The action isn't there yet... most importantly was *tata* eastpoint. Ha you would never believe this. We were so bored so we went to BANQUET food court to discuss our lit pt, which we didn't in the end. I placed my pen and notebk on the table. Some boy who looked 14-16 just came over and took my pen away. I was dazed for a moment wondering what he had done lol (dumb reactions I had). I took like 30 secs before i went with christina and sharon to take my pen back. When that boy saw me he ran down the escalator and I was like "Excuse me, why did you take my pen?!" One lady came to tell us that this boy was strange and told us to be wary of him. heee. Sharon played the biggest part in this. Guess what she shouted? She shouted "Return the pen or I call the police ah!" Magically, the boy went up the escalator and apologising to me, he returned me my pen. I was freaked out so I ran back to the food court immediately. Ate at LJS afterwards. Then went to bus to some playground. I was terrified to play the swing lol. Sharon was kinda afraid too. But farah and christina were like wooooooooooo so high up. Went to farah's house. She didnt want to show it to us and first and told us toguess which was her house. Suddenly remember she wrote her address somewhere so I knew which was hers hehe.

Thursday: Marina Barrage and History of RGS tour
I found the history tour quite interesting. the guide kinda "told stories", so yea it was quite funny. Nice finding our my sch's history, although i was kinda shocked about the changes. Trapped until 8 p.m. because of a heavy rain that caused a flood before RGS was renovated at Anderson rd and had to call the army to use boats to bring the girls to safety??? LOL. Marina Barrage is boring, except for the part where you see a mini sized model of the barrage and get to see two diff situations. The rain pouring down was kul. Oh and vivian bought some Ben and jerry's ice cream at the gallery cafe which cost like $5.40 just for one small cup. Apparently she didn'tsee the price. I thought she had seen it and didn't warn her about it :x she didn't want to like put it back so yea, she just paid for it. I bought cornetto which was 2.60.

Friday A.K.A. today: GB enrolment rehearsal and Japanese lesson
k I can't believe I'm posting so much today. But anw there was rehearsal for the enrolment thing @ sch from 11.30 to 12 today. christina didnt even come. Everyone was like so dead and un-enthu. Srsly what can we do during this 1/2h? We havent even mastered the dance steps. And dance in GB uniform?? omigawd. ohyea they gave us the GB uniform today and apprently there are MANY rules as to how to wear it. Srsly troublesome and you have to doa lot of hands-on yourself. it ended at 12.40p.m. instead. but w/e, i have a lot of time to spare anw. went to far east to eat with zhang yi @ kfc. Omg you know the KFC snackers thing. the winglets are a cheat. They apprently cut it into half and 4 becomes 2. >:( shld have ordered the drumstick one instead. But anyway I also bought the shrooms burger meal so I wasn'thungry at all :) I hate POON SENSEI! She is an old, grumpy woman. I LIKE YEO SENSEI! she stays back to supervise her students doing corrections even though she's pregnant. she's WAY better than poon sensei. and poon sensei uses a complex way when she explains all those jap stuff. but yeo sensei's way is simple and understandable. haven't been working on jap hw!!1 gotta do some soon.ugh.

Oh my gosh!!1 Lit PT and Physics PT's deadline slowly approaching!!11

Summary for the past few days

Okay, I haven't been posting for a few days, so I guess I will just summarise the events for those days.

Saturday
Watched a few episodes of Hot Shot. Watched the first episode of the Korean drama "New Heart" and found that it's quite good.

Sunday
I went to Bugis to eat steamboat buffet for dinner. I forgot what the place was called since it didn't leave a very good impression on me. Or maybe it did. "You must be 10 or under to be classified as Children (which means you'll be charged a lower price)" Wth.

Monday & Tuesday
What could I do except playing the computer?

They're taking me for a fool?!

You know, around like 11 a.m. or 12 p.m., Haiz. called me. JennieT and Emiza were in the chat too, not forgetting the other three on Transit's side (Jaime, Dan and Jon). I was tired and seriously bored of them chatting among themselves. So I asked, "What's your true motive for calling us?" And you know what Haiz. said? "Bring back old memories." Lame please. If he really wanted to do that, there was no need to add Emiza and JennieT in. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM AT ALL.

It was obvious that they wanted us to jump over to their side and make friends with them, now that the Lee bros (David and Jonathan) are backing Transit!

Oh, this reminded me and I sourced for some information while skimming through my past chat logs which were during the Great La DJ Recruitment in November this year. The recruitment in June was when I got to know Haiz. (big mistake) and Transit (good decision).

[11/3/2008 5:01:40 PM] Carol Yuen says: The soil and leaf litter world is teeming with a great variety and number of living creatures. It rivals coral reefs as one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. It is a realm of darkness with tiny caverns, tunnels and crevices. It houses heavily armoured eight-legged mites that clamber about like miniature tanks, elongated earthworms that burrow through the soil, and false scorpions that stalk their prey with their massive pincers outstretched. The soil and litter world is also home to velvet worms, survivors of ancient Gondwanan forest faunas, lichens and fungi with strange fruiting, bodies and countless microorganisms, such as protists and bacteria.

I gave him the highest and Haiz. was the one who gave the lowest k.

Let's have a view of Jon's example about this internal strife that's currently happening now:
The king, Transit, has currently gone on a diplomatic trip. The good ministers (me, Dan, Jme and Jon, Sig, and Jamie) try to make the fake heir of the throne (who has always wanted to grab the throne) executed by complaining to the heads of the government. After two rounds of vigorous explanation and reasoning, they finally get him exiled from the Land of the Great.

However, several rival ministers are unhappy about this and they approach the heads to threaten to quit if the king is not changed. They are so audacious that they even set a deadline for the heads. After much discussion between the heads and the good ministers, they finally come up with a brilliant plan. The heads decided to send a official notice to the rival ministers, stating that they can leave for all they want, or stay. But if they do leave, they will be exiled from the Land of Great La FOREVER.

Some of the rival ministers are thus frightened and are wavering, undecided whether to stay or not. However, their leader objects and plans to pull more ministers into this threatening project. Even the good ministers are requested to jump ship. However, good ministers remain unwavered.

And since the good ministers have the heads backing them, they try to pretend and make peace with the good ministers (hypocrisy). The heads and good and rival ministers have no choice but to wait for the king to come back. As the king is is uncontactable, they can only wait.
-end of story-
note: I wrote the story myself but the storyline was thought of by Jon.
